Overview
This airway management trainer simulates a non-anaesthetised patient for practising intubation, ventilation techniques. It offers tongue swelling and laryngospasm in addition to features on the standard models.
Anatomy
Realistic anatomy and landmarks include teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false cords, true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, stomach.
Realism
The trainer allows you to practice oral, digital and nasal intubation, as well as King System insertion.
Applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus, allowing realistic practice. With its slightly anterior position, swelling tongue and vocal cords, this is a great trainer for introductory as well as advanced oral intubation operation training. The trachea can be inserted correctly, and the lungs can be inflated with air supply.
When the operator makes an error in tracheal intubation, such as the laryngoscope over-pressing the upper teeth, the catheter strays into the esophagus, or the catheter is inserted too deep into the bronchus, there will be an alarm and a red light display.
Cleaning
1. Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
2.Allow trainer to completely dry before storing.
3. Keep away from sunshine.
