Introduction
This product includes a child manikin, an auscultation control box, and a remote control. The manikin is made of plastic with simulated skin and offers pediatric cardiopulmonary auscultation and basic nursing functions. It features soft, elastic, and durable skin with clear anatomical structures, allowing for training in pediatric auscultation, basic nursing procedures, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Functions
Pupil State Display: One pupil normal, one dilated, allowing for intuitive comparison.
Arterial Pulse Palpation: Simulates radial, brachial, femoral (all on the right side), and dorsalis pedis (left side) artery pulsations.
Basic Nursing Skills: Training in procedures such as cleaning the mouth and nose, bathing, changing clothes, ear irrigation and medication, oral care, etc.
Airway Management: The model features precise anatomical structures including nasal cavity, oral cavity, teeth, larynx, trachea, and esophagus. Allows for visualized endotracheal intubation training, suctioning techniques, and oxygen administration.
Nasogastric Tube Insertion: Training in oronasal feeding tube insertion and gastrointestinal decompression. Abdominal auscultation verifies tube placement. Simulated gastric fluid can be aspirated upon successful insertion.
Venipuncture, Injection, Infusion, and Transfusion: Venous access training on the arm veins (right side) and lower limb veins (right femoral vein; left greater and lesser saphenous veins). The veins are highly realistic with true-to-life texture and provide a distinct "give" sensation upon correct puncture. Sites allow for multiple punctures, and forearm skin is replaceable.
Bone Marrow Aspiration: Allows for tibial puncture with simulated bone marrow outflow for medication administration or fluid infusion.
Limb Mobility: Realistic joint movement for simulated flexion, extension, and positioning into various therapeutic postures.
Auscultation Training: Provides over 153 pediatric heart, lung, bowel, and vascular sounds, encompassing both normal and abnormal findings. This includes 113 heart sounds, 31 breath sounds, 5 bowel sounds, and 4 vascular murmurs.
Advanced RFID System: Utilizes RFID technology for precise auscultation site positioning, with 29 predefined positions: 6 cardiac areas, 19 pulmonary areas, and 4 abdominal areas.
Full Lung Auscultation: Allows auscultation over the anterior chest, axillae, and back.
Bilateral Lung Comparison Mode: Enables 19 side-by-side lung sound comparisons, facilitating differentiation between abnormal breath sounds, rales, and normal sounds.
High-Fidelity Sound Source: Sounds are captured by medical experts during clinical practice and processed with high-fidelity technology, ensuring authentic and accurate reproduction of patient auscultatory findings.
LCD Display: Shows different operation mode interfaces.
Graphic/Text Button: Toggles between graphical and text-based interfaces (available only when the line diagram is displayed).
Volume Control: Adjustable sound level.
Standby Settings: Includes screen display and auto-power-off features for energy saving and extended use. Screen settings control backlight timeout (default: 10 seconds). Power-saving mode activates standby after 2 minutes of inactivity. Auto-power-off is in default set to 20 minutes.
Two Training Modes: Amplified Mode and Auscultation Mode: These represent different training approaches. Amplified Mode uses headphones for听诊. Auscultation Mode uses a simulated electronic stethoscope on the manikin (headphones can also be used; the manikin connection is optional in Amplified Mode).
Pediatric Body Diagram: In text mode, describes current sound characteristics. In auscultation mode, displays a body outline diagram. When the stethoscope is placed on a specific manikin location, the corresponding point on the diagram flashes and shows the site name. Pressing the Graphic/Text Button toggles between the diagram and explanatory text.
