Includes two standardized modules, both compatible with other products:
Module 1: Cardiopulmonary Auscultation
Lung Auscultation: Overcomes the limitation of earlier models with few auscultation sites. Enables auscultation of the entire lung field for greater realism. Dozens of normal/abnormal breath sounds and sounds from various pathologies can be simulated.
Heart Auscultation & Differentiation: Includes nearly 51 heart sounds. Instructors and students can select any two sounds for comparison. The two contrasting sounds are played at corresponding locations on the manikin for differential diagnosis training.
Lung Auscultation & Differentiation: Contains 31 respiratory sounds for differentiation. These easily confused sounds can be heard separately in the left and right lungs of the manikin for student identification and judgment.
Module 2: BPSim Module
Non-invasive blood pressure measurement can be performed on the dedicated arm using a real sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.
Features Korotkoff sounds.
Pressure values are displayed with a dynamic mmHg column. Blood pressure settings can be adjusted precisely in 1 mmHg increments.
Systolic and diastolic pressures are continuously adjustable between 0-300 mmHg.
Systolic and diastolic pressures can be adjusted independently.
Sound volume and pulse rate can be adjusted as needed for teaching.
Systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, volume, and heart rate are displayed simultaneously on an LCD screen. A dynamic mercury column display visually represents the changing cuff pressure.
