Overview
This model is designed to simulate different stages of cervical dilation and effacement,providing realistic training for obstetric procedures and cervical examinations. It supports clinical training for assessing cervical dilation and effacement during labor progression.
Anatomy
The model is divided into 9 parts, each representing a different stage of cervical dilation and effacement. Anatomical accuracy includes both the cervical os and cervical canal in various stages of dilation and disappearance.
Realism
The cervical os progresses from no dilation to 10 cm, with corresponding effacement of the cervical canal.Each part allows for hands-on practice with realistic tactile feedback, aiding in the assessment of cervical changes during labor.
